The new photographic project by Luca Catalano Gonzaga, “Wildlife and Community Survival,” promoted by Witness Image with the support of the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation and the logistical assistance of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), aims to highlight the deep connection between local communities and endangered animal species. The communities that share the same habitat with some species are directly affected by serious threats that jeopardize the survival of both, such as habitat destruction, poaching, pollution, deforestation, and climate change. The project will last three years and includes a series of reports from different parts of the world and a photography exhibition at the conclusion of the project.
